How does Blic work?
Our parcel locker is equipped with a power cord. A simple plug into an outlet and your BLIC locker is up and running.
It communicates via the 4G network for the connection to the Blic server and the sending of SMS and/or email notifications.
How does the installation of a Blic parcel locker work?
With BLIC, there are no setup fees. You install your locker in complete autonomy.
Our parcel locker can be unloaded and positioned on its area with a forklift or crane.
Once positioned, you can attach it to the floor.
How am I notified when a delivery person drops off a package for me in a Blic locker?
When a parcel is dropped off for you, you automatically receive alert notifications (SMS and/or email) with the unique collection code to be entered on the screen to open the locker.
What should I do if I lose my withdrawal code?
Don’t panic! You can have this code resent to you via the BLIC screen or by calling our HOTLINE.
Do applicants need to be pre-registered?
All delivery services/carriers can drop off a package in a locker without reservation and without prior registration.
We set up the logos of your main carriers and compatible main suppliers on the depositor’s identification page for a smoother journey. The depositor whose logo does not appear can make his delivery by clicking on “Other company”.
Who can receive parcels in the Blic?
As the administrator of the BLIC, the BCM (blic community manager) of your site manages access control and decides who can receive packages.
They can add or remove users at any time thanks to their personalized access to the MyBlic portal.
The reception is 24/7 with no presence required. The delivery person will be able to deliver the equipment at any time, and the teams can pick up what they need when they arrive.
What happens if the 4G connection fails?
In the event of a 4G connection fault, you can always pick up your parcels.
On the other hand, delivery people or drop-offs will have to wait for the return of the network to make a new drop-off: it is necessary to be connected to be able to drop off a package.
What happens in the event of a power cut?
In the event of a temporary power cut, the lockers remain closed. When the power comes back on, the BLIC automatically regains its configuration and its smart function: you can track your order, current deposits can then be collected and deliveries made.
